Today, New Zealand Couriers celebrated Diversity Day at Head Office, bringing our team together to recognise the people, cultures and experiences that help shape who we are.
Since 1964, New Zealand Couriers has grown through the efforts of passionate people across the country. Today, we are a nationwide team of more than 1200 people, supported by branches, couriers, drivers and teams who help keep deliveries moving for customers across Aotearoa.

“Diversity Day is a chance for us to come together and celebrate the people who make New Zealand Couriers what it is. It’s about building a workplace where everyone feels welcome, respected and able to be themselves.” – Amanda Gordon, People and Culture Manager

Diversity Day was an opportunity to pause and celebrate the different backgrounds, perspectives and ways of working that exist across our business. Whether people are based at Head Office, in our branches, on the road or supporting customers behind the scenes, every person plays a part in our success.
At New Zealand Couriers, one of our attitudes is being “one red-hot team.” That means supporting our teammates, being true to ourselves and respecting others for who they are. It also reflects the kind of workplace we want to keep building, where people feel supported, encouraged and motivated by those around them.

The day was a reminder that a strong team culture is built through everyday actions. The way we listen, communicate, collaborate and show respect all helps create an environment where people can feel confident being themselves and doing their best work.
As a Kiwi-owned business with a proud nationwide team, we are proud to celebrate the people who make New Zealand Couriers what it is. Diversity Day gave us a chance to recognise those differences, celebrate what brings us together and continue building a workplace where everyone feels they belong.
