New Zealand Couriers is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Hedgman as General Manager, effective on 1st July 2025.

Scott’s appointment marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for New Zealand Couriers as the business continues to sharpen its focus on premium service, strong partnerships, and long-term growth. He brings with him extensive leadership experience, a proven track record in driving transformation, and a passion for delivering meaningful results.

With over three decades of experience in the courier industry, Scott’s roots at New Zealand Couriers go back to his first role as a 17-year-old relief driver. That hands-on experience building customer relationships and running his own courier business has given him a deep appreciation for the dedication and effort that goes into every parcel we deliver.

In his previous roles as General Manager Sales – Freightways and as National Sales Manager – New Zealand Couriers, Scott has already been leading efforts to enhance how the company serves its customers, deepen engagement with couriers, and ensure the brand reflects its ambition across all touchpoints from branches and vans to digital channels. He’s also placing strong emphasis on the company’s people and culture, ensuring safety, respect, and pride are core to how the business operates every day.
